Hint cards, also known as status cards or fortune cards, are cards displayed every time a new chapter begins. They depict a certain character with an abstract background and a relevant noun. They are earned under certain circumstances based on the player's actions and may or may not predict a gameplay-related future.

Inception card
This card depicts Amely hatching from her egg on a stage, with a sun and an apple tree bearing fruit above her. This card symbolizes the start of the protagonist's new adventure, a new beginning. Chapter 1: The player will always get this card on a fresh save file, it only appears once and never returns, the player must erase all data to obtain it again.
Leadership card
This card depicts Bryce standing on what appears to be a stage wearing his police badge and examining a red vial, probably containing blood from some case. This card symbolizes Bryce's responsibilities as the Chief of police and the leader of his department, as well as the fact he has to lead the investigation about Reza's whereabouts. Chapter 3: You'll get this card if you've seen Bryce's first two scenes and his status is either good or impressed

Chapter 4: You'll get this card if he is still good or impressed.

Chapter 5: You'll get this card if his good ending is possible.

Superstition card
This card depicts Adine on a stage holding the blueprint that the player gets for her, with a claw to her muzzle in thought.

A sun shines rays on her in the background.

This card symbolizes Adine's belief in humanism and the power of the fortune cards, as well as other supernatural elements such as time-traveling.

The sun shining behind her could represent her bright optimism and happy demeanour.

Chapter 3: You'll get this card if you've seen Adine's first two scenes and her status is either good or impressed.

Chapter 4: You'll get this card if she is still good or impressed.

Chapter 5: You'll get this card if her good ending is possible.

Passion card
This card depicts Anna lying on a bed in a somewhat seductive manner, with hospital related symbols in the background such as the hook for a drip, a painting with an electrocardiogram scan on it and a single pink flower. This card symbolizes Anna's desire to live life and her passion about her scientist research and the possibility to abandon her old hermit-like life, find love and achieve a happy life while also fighting against the time running out every second. Chapter 3: You'll get this card if you've seen Anna's first two scenes and her status is either good or impressed.

Chapter 4: You'll get this card if her status is still good or impressed.

Chapter 5: You'll get this card if her good ending is possible.

Intuition card
This card depicts Lorem leaping into the air over something that could be either fire or autumn trees with a starry night in the background, appearing to be reaching for the moon (or possibly an Ixomen Sphere).

There are also curtains at the edges, giving the impression of a performance.

This card symbolizes Lorem's intuition, telling him to talk to the player about his problems and gamble his friendship in order to push his fears away and be able to continue with his life with a true friend.

Supposing the orange thing below Lorem is fire, the card would depict him jumping over it in order to grab the moon, which could represent his life goals.

Chapter 3: You'll get this card if you've seen Lorem's first two scenes and his status is either good or impressed.

Chapter 4: You'll get this card if his status is still good or impressive.

Chapter 5: You'll get this card if his good ending is possible.

Grief card
This cards depict Remy looking at a photo frame with an upset or crying expression while holding his tie. The background has a cloud with blue stripes coming out like rain. This card symbolizes Remy's grief. Chapter 3: You'll get this card if you've seen Remy's first two scenes and his status is either good or impressed.

Chapter 4: You'll get this card if Remy's status is till good or impressed.

Chapter 5: You'll get this card if his good ending is possible.

Hope card
The card depicts Zhong in a green field with stars around him and the sun shining behind him over the hills. He's on his knees with his hands together, appearing to pray. This card symbolizes Zhong's hopes, he prays for his plans to run smoothly in order to be able to achieve his goal and live happily. Chapter 2: You'll get this card you performed middly well on the investigations but not well enough for the Duty card.

Chapter 4: You'll get this card if Anna Lorem and Remy are still alive.

Chapter 5: You'll get this card if a good ending is possible.

Duty card
This card depicts Sebastian with his police hat and a magnifying glass, appearing to be investigating.

The yellow background appears to have a sun setting behind him.

This card symbolizes Sebastian's duty as a police officer, trying to make the most out of the protagonist's findings. Sebastian does his best in order to advance the investigation and find the truth. Chapter 1: You'll get this card if you were able to achieve a good ending.

Chapter 2: You'll get this card if your perfomance was perfect during the first investigation.

Chapter 3: You'll get this card if your perfomance was perfect during the second investigation and you don't qualify for any other card.

Chapter 4: You'll get this card if you perfomance was perfect during the third investigation and you don't qualify for any other card.

Chapter 5: You'll get this card if you:

- Have seen at least 1 ending.

- Can't achieve a good ending

- Can't achieve the worst ending

- Didn't qualify for the Enlightenment card

Conflict card
This card depicts Maverick with an angry look on his face,

wearing his police dog tag surrounded by a brown night, with

clouds and a yellow moon above him.

This card symbolizes Maverick's conflict with the protagonist and his sense of justice as a police officer, as well as his frustrated feelings towards Bryce, since he felt betrayed when being put on leave after Reza's incident. Chapter 5: The player will always get this card on a fresh save file if they didn't see their first ending yet.
Loss card
This card depicts Maverick's brother, Miles laying down on a stage with a spotlight on him, possibly dead, although there is no blood nor signs of injury. The card symbolizes the protagonist's loss of someone whom they loved, or was, in another time, a friend. Chapter 4: You'll get this card if a main character is dead or about to die.
Pride card
This card depicts Damion wearing his lab coat with a smug smirk, standing on a stage with purple-leaved trees in the background and a few stripes of blue and purple. This card symbolizes the protagonist's pride and their demeanor turning into something evil and wicked, just like Damion. Chapter 2/3/4/5: You'll get this card if you are on the path to the evil ending.
Trauma card
This card depicts Vara walking on a dirt path through a field, with hills and grey clouds in the distance. This card symbolizes trauma and the uncertain path ahead. Chapter 1: You'll get this card if you achieved a bad ending on your previous run.

Chapter 2: You'll get this card if, by any chance, don't qualify for any other card meant to appear on this chapter.

Enlightenment card
This card depicts Vara's mother with a very bright shining sun above her and pink flowers around. This card symbolizes Enlightenment about the choices and consequences of the game as the player was able to achieve the true ending, resulting in saving everyone who could not be saved on previous runs and getting the best possible conclusion of the story. All chapters: You'll get this card if you have achieved all good endings and the true ending. Congratulations, you saved everyone!
